What is one credit?

One credit sends one SMS segment to one recipient. A standard message holds up to 160 characters in one segment; longer messages are split into segments of 153 characters. Messages with emoji or characters outside the standard SMS alphabet hold 70 characters (67 per segment when longer).

A two-segment message to 1,000 recipients uses 2,000 credits.

Sender ID setup fees

A one-time fee for each network you register your sender ID on, paid separately from credits.

10 free credits to test with when your first sender ID is approved.
Messages rejected before the network accepts them return their credits.
Credits are used when the network accepts a message; delivery is reported separately.
