Frostwood Bulk SMS delivers messages for schools, SACCOs, businesses and other organisations. If you are getting messages you no longer want, here is how to stop them. Opting out is free.
Promotional messages on Safaricom
Promotional messages sent through Frostwood end with STOP*456*9*5#. Dial *456*9*5# from your Safaricom line and follow the prompts to stop promotional messages.
Any network, or one organisation only
- Contact the organisation that sent the message and ask to be removed. It must add your number to its opt-out list. Once a number is on the list, our system blocks every message from that organisation to it.
- Or email info@frostwood.co.ke, or use our contact form, with your phone number and the sender name shown on the message (for example KITSACCO). We pass your request to the organisation and check that it is honoured within 2 working days.
Messages you still receive
Opting out stops promotional messages. Some organisations may still send messages you need, such as one-time passwords, payment receipts and account alerts.
Report abuse
If a message looks like fraud or you never dealt with the sender, email info@frostwood.co.ke with a screenshot. We investigate every report and can suspend senders who break our rules. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your number.
